About the Artist
Salutations! My name is Kyra│k-EE-ruh│Marsh and I am an aspiring themed entertainment designer, reality TV competition enthusiast, and amateur home baker. Currently, I am also finishing my senior year at the University of Southern California, earning my Bachelors of Fine Arts with a concentration in Themed Entertainment. My first love has always been in designing immersive experiences, hoping to continue to push the levels of innovation and storytelling possible through art and design.

About the Work
Home is a liminal space. Or, maybe it should be flipped: liminal spaces are home. These points of transition, the in-betweens of the ending and a new beginning, has been the main constant in my life over the last four years. College has been lived in hallways, hotel lobbies, stairwells, (Zoom) waiting rooms, and, most prominently, in airport terminals. If home is where you rest your feet and comfortably take a deep breath, then my home has been in LAX’s Terminal 2, Gate A26, sloped against the metal railing that separates those eagerly awaiting boarding from the terminal bar. Home is keeping my eyes peeled at SNA’s main concourse, waiting for the one time that a Real Housewife of Orange County passes by. Home is stopping by the last remaining Sub Pop shop, located after the main security line at SEA-TAC. Home is getting to see the demolition of the old and construction of the new SLC airport and now going into every one of the new bathrooms just to see the murals unique to each.
